Considering the Workshop?
If you have never attended our Spring Workshop, then the following pictures and text will give you a peek into what we offer at the largest educational event, of its kind, for beekeepers in the United States...

This is the main auditorium where we have opening and closing comments, the keynote address and the more popular class sessions through-out the day.

March 2012 - Wooster, Ohio - Attendees =  1,043

* Each TCBA Workshop is filled with numerous break-out sessions covering many aspects of honeybees and beekeeping. For the master beekeeper to the beginner, there are sessions just for you. Each one of our begginers' classes cover a different topic, are of course basic in nature and will cover what you will need to know to get into beekeeping. Classes like swarm control and harvesting hive products are for the intermediate beekeeper and topics like queen rearing and hive pheromone study are for the advanced beekeeper.

*Although the above picture is of a break-out session, this large area also serves as the main dinning area for the great catered lunch on Saturday.

* The OSU Pollinatarium will again be available for tours on Friday evening. The Pollinatarium exhibits information about the various pollinators in nature; of course, this includes our favorite pollinator. The Pollinatarium is near by and can be found by following the provided signage.

* Don't miss the opportunity to meet with all the local and many national equipment vendors at the Workshop. (See phone list below) Please note - The vendor areas are an integral part of the Workshop and are intermixed with the classroom areas. For this reason, only paying registrants of the Workshop, have access to the vendors inside the facility. Registrants are encouraged to place equipment orders over the phone, a few weeks before the Workshop. Many of the vendors are willing to bring phoned-in orders to the meeting for pick-up.

However, if you are stopping bye the Workshop only to pick-up an order and are not paying the entrance fee, you must make arrangements, in advance, to meet the vendor outside the facility to pick-up your order...
